We're home from a week camping. The boys had a great time. Until the end of the week, when things got a little crazy with downpours, thunderstorms, and a tornado watch, the weather was gorgeous.
We spent all week at the beach, and Jim got his fishing fix. Turns out Sean is an enthusiastic fishing partner. Sean turned 6 while we where away. He devoured a somewhat astonishing amount of fried seafood at his birthday dinner and we got to see some family that we haven't seen in a long time.
Camping while 8 months pregnant definitely has its downsides however, and this morning I have a list of things I am grateful for:
my bed
my bathroom (which can be reached without the need for shoes or climbing a ridiculous hill)
electricity
running water
did I mention my bed?
my cat
my coffee pot
and a noticeable lack of mud in my living area
It's nice to be home.
