Advent day 14

Today we dried orange slices to hang on the tree. They took a long time, but it was very simple and I love the way it makes the tree look. While we hung the oranges, we talked about the approaching solstice, since the oranges make me think of the soon to be returning sun.

All I did was put the slices in the oven at 200 degrees, turning them on occasion. They were in there for the majority of the day.









I know you must be getting tired of pictures of my tree, but it really makes me happy. :)
