Waking up every morning and logging on is all the lesson planning I've had to do this week. Everything is all in one spot and when we're done, we're done. No second guesses, no-did we do enough today? or-will we get it all done this year?
The work load is just right, his confidence is up, and the gear switch into pre-algebra is just what he needed. We are both loving K12's literature program and James is relieved that his lit is not tied to history for once. Who knew?
I am still adjusting. Though my lessons are planned, I am still spending a lot of time going over examples, discussing his reading, and correcting work. It is a lot to get in a full school day and take care of a baby, keep a 4 year old busy, and run a household. But, we're all dressed, the house is (relatively) clean, and there is bread rising, so I think we'll manage.
