Unplugged project- Rough

The Unplugged Project theme this week was rough.
We made textured watercolor paintings with salt. This was very simple to do. The boys made a watercolor painting and then we sprinkled salt on them before they dried. The result was a sparkly rough finish.

What a beautiful job. I think that I might have to try this one with the boys.

Neat idea! I had thought of doing something similar with sand but we've never tried salt before :) We'll have to try this out.
