We started with contact and tissue paper. Sean really enjoys ripping paper. I just hope I didn't give him any ideas, but I haven't found any torn book pages.
The next day we used coffee filters and markers. I had googled "stained glass art project" (or something along those lines) and I came across this. I had to help Sean a lot and he lost interest quickly on this one.
Last one we did was with crayon shavings and wax paper. I melted them in a warm oven for just a couple of seconds. Once James and I got the crayon shavings ready, Sean jumped right in.
They all look really nice hanging on my glass slider!

Great stained glass projects :) We did one to *grin*
Those came out so cool!
They turned out great!
Those are all great projects. I love all the different shapes and colors when they're displayed together. :)
What a nice display. Looks like a fun week.
I love how your window looks with all the stained glass art hanging on them! Nice job. My daughter walked by as I was reading your post and she saw the muffin tins and said "Oh I like those rainbow cookies"
What a pretty window display. It looks like they had a lot of fun.
Those are so cute... I was going to do that too, but I cant find any contact paper near me (i dont have a car and just shop at the local shops) so next time I am out... I am buying contact!! We did glass printing
So you put the wax paper and crayon shavings all in the oven?
The finished result looks so pretty! I like how you tried so many different variations on the same theme.
Your display of artwork looks awesome! :) Great projects! :)
Lovely, we forgot to do a "glass" project, but we're enjoying everyone else's.
We did tissue and contact paper too, but yours looks more "professional" framed in black. They all look so nice on your window!
I'm intrigued by the coffee filter one. I've done water on coffee filters before to make other things, but never made a "print" using them. I might have to experiment with them! Thanks for the idea.
Beautiful, and I love how you found so many different ways of creating the stained glass effect.
Yes, I had the boys make them on cookie sheets. I put the oven on the lowest setting. I'm not sure how long they were in there, but it was only a couple of minutes. I really didn't want to bring out the iron with Sean around. :)
