I did have Jim take the tree out, the pine needles make me crazy. I haven't made any progress in talking him into a fake tree for next year.
We brought our cranberries out to hang for the birds and the tree is in the burn pile.
The rest of our decorations are still up and our Three Wise Men are making their way to the nativity scene. I'm looking forward to Epiphany, with one last excuse for making a dessert.
Speaking of dessert...there is a cake in the oven for Jim's birthday and the boys are busy making him cards. He was home all last week up until yesterday and then had to go back to work on his birthday. We miss him already.

Nice work on the gingerbread house, it looks great! Ours was a sorry looking sight this year.
It didn't last very long once Chris got up from his nap! The gumdrops were ripped off and he sucked the sugar off as many as he could before I got it all out of reach. ;)
