Sean is on a minimum schedule already: reading, math, and memory work. James has wrapped up science for the break and has one more chapter in history to get through before the holidays. Latin and grammar are going extremely well. He is retaining what he is learning and enjoys his studies. A big relief, I am always worried when we try a new program.
A couple of books we read this week:
On St. Lucia Day, we listened to this podcast reading of Lucia, Saint of Light. I had planned to bake a braided bread, but realized at the last minute that we were missing a few ingredients. Maybe next year!

Sorry - just saw that you are breaking early!!! Ahhhh don't tell me I am the only one actually making the kids do work next week???? Enjoy the break :)
We'll keep up drill and memory work and I am trying out a subscription for Time4learning for a bit, but officially speaking, I am ready for vacation! :)
I had to scale back to ther three r's. We finished today, thank goodness. I need a break.
