St. Patrick's Day

This is probably my lamest attempt at celebrating a holiday ever, but hey, at least I tried. lol
We had corned beef and cabbage over the weekend at my cousin's annual St. Patty's party. I usually make an Irish stew for the actual day of, but I made it last night instead. We did have it reheated for lunch today, so I guess that counts.

Anyways, the boys dressed in green,

we read a couple of books,

and the boys watched some Irish dancing on Youtube. After James finishes his science for the day, we will listen to this cd that he has in his extensive before-bed-listening collection.

Sean stamped green shapes on a hastily cut-out shamrock. Pretty sad craft, I know, but all of my paints and constuction paper are packed already.

James was going on about getting hats, decorating the house, etc. so I really failed him on this one. I promised we'd go all-out for Easter to make up for it. I should be settled in the new place by then. I hope.
