Tranferring trays

Sean loves doing transferring work so I set up a few new trays for him. These were spread throughout the day. We haven't really set up a specific time frame for his work yet. We will probably become more consistent in the fall. Right now James is on a light schedule for the summer and that has really thrown off our routine.

He used a mustard spoon to transfer beans. I had intended to put popcorn kernels in there, but we ate all the popcorn. I'll have to pick up some more.

This we both love. It is a suction cup frog I got from Montessori n' Such. Eventually he will move the marbles with tongs. I need to find a pair that will grip the glass well. I also plan to show him how to fill the suction cups with water using the glass droppers. That is definitely for further down the road.

He used the dropper to transfer colored water between cups. I was surprised by how well he did with this, but I had to take it away when he got a little too boisterous with the glass dropper.
